Embedding is very common terminology in the website world. In layman's terms it basically means that you are inserting content from another website (or another source) into your web page.

A MySQL database is what stores the data (content) of your website (assuming it is a dynamic website - one that uses a database to load its information/content). It is separate from the design and contains everything you enter in your Content Management System (CMS). Your CMS pretty much is a good looking and user friendly way of entering information into the MySQL database. Adobe Flash/Adobe Flash Player was a great program that created a lot of neat animations and interactive website elements. Due to a dispute between Apple and Adobe, Apple refused to allow support for Adobe Flash on its smart phones and tablets. As the world was changing and more and more people started accessing the internet through these devices over their computers, this became a death blow for Adobe Flash. Just like any data, it is always important to have a back up of your website in case on unforeseeable problems. There are four main things you will need to have in place in order to get your web site off the ground: Domain, Hosting, SSL Certificate, & Design.
